Richard D. Clark - Professor of Meteorology & Department Chairman
With a PhD from University of Wyoming, Dr. Clark is an expert in boundary layer meteorology and lower tropospheric dynamics. His current research focus is low-level ozone and particulate concentrations over the East Coast megalopolis, and he is a principal researcher in the three-year federally funded North-East Corridor Oxidant and Particle Study. Go to Dr. DeCaria's Homepage Alex DeCaria - Associate Professor of Meteorology
Dr. DeCaria received his PhD from the University of Maryland where he did research on lightning and atmospheric chemistry. He is interested in numerical modeling, and developed and teaches our Numerical Modeling of the Atmosphere and Oceans course. He is also interested in the application of geographic information systems (GIS) to the atmospheric sciences. Dr. DeCaria served 11 years in the U.S. Navy as a meteorology officer, including duty as a typhoon forecaster at the Navy/Air Force Joint Typhoon Warning Center. Alex.Decaria@millersville.edu

Joe Calhoun - Instructor of Broadcast Meteorology
Joe is the senior meteorologist with WGAL-TV in Lancaster, PA. He is a graduate of Penn State University ('81 Meteorology) and he was awarded the AMS Seal of Approval in 1984. Joe has been working the morning and midday broadcasts at WGAL since 1987.

Robert S. Ross - Professor Emeritus
Receiving his PhD from Florida State University, Dr. Ross is an expert on hurricanes. His particular research interest is illumination of conceptual models of atmospheric phenomena using graphical displays of numerical model output. Dr. Ross retired in July 2001 and is now a researcher at FSU. bross@coven.met.fsu.edu
