Comments: I noticed the sleet starting about 5am. Driving around this morning, the roads were more slippery than I expected from the sleet. The sleet switched to big fluffy snowflakes about 11am and is sticking to the street as well as the grass.

Comments: The moderate snow that fell in Bel Air over the past 2 hours has now tappered off to light snow and flurries. Storm Totals for Bel Air, MD are as follows: 1.5 inches of rain fell until it turned to sleet around 4:30 pm. 1.5 inches of sleet then fell until around 8:30 pm when the precip turned to mostly snow from 8:30 to around 10:45 with accumulations of 1.2 inches of snow. Harford County, MD was again the boundary for rain, snow and sleet. Closer to the Mason-Dixon Line the rain turned to sleet and the sleet to snow about an hour and a half before it did in Bel Air (center of the county) resulting in less rain and more sleet/snow then the rest of the county. Places like APG and Havre de Grace, MD in the southern and eastern parts of Harford County never really turned to all snow and remained mostly sleet throughout the evening.
