Comments: Very interesting snow. 2" accumulated on "white/more reflective" surfaces (like the concrete sidewalk), as well as the colder surfaces (like car rooftops). However, my blacktop driveway only had about 1/2". Must have been due to the Wednesday sunshine warming those "absorbing" surfaces more - although, I would think that would be negligible when it's 10° outside.

Comments: This is from Wednesday night's event. The center of E-town had a little more than a dusting (I live near Falmouth, which is west.) However, today I was driving between Manheim and E-town and noticed around Mastersonville (Cider Press Road) that there was a fresh 2-4 inches of snow. This was not from the band that produced a foot of snow Tuesday night in central Lancaster County because this location is too far west. This snow must have fallen last night. The pine trees were covered and there was blowing and drifting. Then as I traveled toward E-town, the amount of new snow decreased dramatically. Perhaps this is why E-town schools delayed this morning because the eastern part of the district had snow. Very interesting past few days.
