Although, snow is still coming down pretty good now, thus additionsl accumulations are likely, even though measurement will be very difficult now, with the drifting. So a final, accurate accumulation probably will be hard to take now, once the snow has ended for good.

Storm Total: 22" inches
Temperature:
Comments: 21" measured at 7:30, but even with about an inch of new snow on shoveled areas since then, the original 21" measurement spot had compacted to 20". Shoveling can be described as a wet-bottom shoo-fly pie. The lower foot or so is dense and can be shoveled in blocks, but the top half is all powdery.

New Rain/Snow: inches in the last
hours
Storm Total: 22 inches inches
Temperature:
Comments: My previous measurements were low. The snow was being blown away from the stick in the middle of the back yard. I could get consistent measurements between 20 and 24 inches, so I'm settling on 22 inches as a final measure. I love snow, but I'd like it in batches of 15 inches or less. At least it was fairly light and fluffy so it was easy (but tedious) to shovel.
