Comments: We noticed that it finally started snowing after 7pm Wednesday evening even though radar had been showing rain for hours before then. Nothing accumulated on roads. At 11pm, large snowflakes were falling but not heavily. With light winds, snow was caught on bare branches before hitting the grass beneath the trees. It's partially melted at daybreak, so 1/2 inch is an estimate. Looks like this will be a year I don't shovel snow. Oh well.

Comments: Went to Sam Lewis State Park in York County, elevation around 900 feet. About 1.5" there But, some of the snow probably melted by the time I got there. As usual, snowfall diminished rapidly, to a coating, as I drove down to Wrightsville along the river.
