Comments: I had an 8am class and then office hours. My office doesn't have a window. So when I saw Eric's update on Twitter, I found a window. Uh-oh. At noon or so, I brushed what seemed to be two inches of snow off my car in the parking lot south of Roddy. I didn't measure it. Roads were slushy in spots on my way home. It's snowing hard at home. Too hard to get good pictures of the dendrites although many of them are large and pretty. Wind from the southeast. I measured 1.25 inches on the snow board and brushed it off at 12:30pm.

Comments: I thought it was letting up a bit, so I went out to clear the board and feed the birds. But the sidewalk is covered again. I'm thinking there's probably been more than 3.5 inches, but that's what the board says. Pretty dendrites. But at 5:45pm, we have lots of clumps. It looks like I'm in a snow globe.

Comments: Snow came down heavily for a while, but when I went out to get pictures, it switched to lighter snow with a bit of sleet. Many of the flakes were covered with rime. So I measured and cleared the board.

Comments: Huge snowflake masses now. New snowfall melted to 0.15 inches; overall storm so far 10.5 inches/.55 inches liquid so now "only" 18:1. Easy to handle!

Comments: Had two very heavy bands roll through between 5 PM and 8 PM, the first of which dropped 1.7 inches in 45 minutes and the second of which dropped 1 inch in 30 minutes.
