Comments: Very difficult to offer an accurate storm total. Total prior to sleet & "mix" was 7.25, so that is my baseline. .325 new snow on area cleared at changeover time was added for the 7.625 total, even though a measurement of the total snow on an uncleared area is now 5.25 inches due to a combination of compacting and the mixed precip. NEVERTHELESS: core sample from undisturbed area (containing all of the snow as well as the liquid precip) melted down to just .45 inches for a very impressive 16.9:1
